Match Officials Today

As spectators we are paying for better than this. Both referee and linesmen were appaling, the numder of forward passes , knock ons, offsides, obstructions in fact probably every infringement you could care to mention went unchecked.
What recourse do we have if any I know the club can call for a meeting with SC but honestly that will get nowhere.
One action of Silverwood which really summed up his performance was when he called time off Cats having formed the scrum with 2 of their players still behind the Wigan defensive line.
Is it answers on a postcard to SC ?

As I said on another thread, I was sure there was a specific agenda today to protect the RFL project's position
But I am just paranoid as Josie will confirm when she is released from custody having been cautioned for stealing my milk!

Their project is expansion and an unbeaten Cats justifies their position. That was my view!

I don't think the officials were trying to keep an unbeaten Catalans side for any reason whatsoever, I just think they performed very poorly on the day.
That said, He did call up two forward passes that could've led to tries and he was playing a short ten for both teams all game so can't criticise the lack of offsides too much - he gave a number of penalties correctly for not square at marker.
Too many forward passes were missed and messing around on the floor by Catalans was allowed far too much but in the end we won. Would've liked a better camera on that Baille try but other than that no incorrect ref decisions really impacted the scoreboard.
Oh - and as for the time-off at scrum thing, wasn't that when we kicked the ball away?

I was really disappointed with the officials today.
I can cope with human error, but the forward passes are getting out of control and I'm putting it down to sheer ignorance. The role of the touch judge is becoming more and more redundant. This correct me if I'm wrong is his/her job. Still nothing!
Silverwood really did realise his whistle fetish yesterday and seemed to be working with a different interpretation of the rules than the players.
