Widnes v Wigan

Post by Kittwazzer »

Initially thought SW may have gone a bit too far but 0-12 after 7 minutes!!! Time for a rethink perhaps!

18-18. Maybe resting Sam was a step too far!

Sounds like we have been lucky. Widnes could well have been in front if Briscoe had held the ball. Two dropped balls over our try line. Stefan Marsh sounds to be having a blinder.

From 0:12 up after 6 minutes to be 18:18 at half time, have we taken Widnes too lightly like we did Huddersfield.

Whenever the opposition has so many ex (or current) Wigan players in their team, they always put up a strong performance.

This was not a match to rest so many quality players??

What has SW been thinking about??

We've definitely over-rested on the experienced players. No Tommy/Pat/Tomkins/Lockers added to the already missing Carmont. I'll not be happy if we lose this. Completely unnecessary pressure.
