Considering who profits from the food and drink, I prefer to go without. If I'm hungry before or after, I patron one of the many vans on the perimeter who's fayre has always been excellent!

To be honest the pies at DW are shit and as a Wiganer Iam sorry to say they are not fit to be associated with Wigan

That's been said on here before. They get re-heated so many times the base gets overcooked and the contents at the bottom solidify!

Chicken Balti pie at Hull FC - unbeatable. As for Wigan a £1 large Dairy Milk does me good.

Beer is expensive and imo why need it middle of feb on a friday night? I think the article is light-hearted but keeps someone busy in their office to make people read it.

The pies are one thing, but I do agree about the beer.

There is good advice for all those who want to eat and drink healthily - eat and drink nothing that's been advertised on television. That way you don't have to drink the evil cola or naff burgers, tasteless beer, or the very worst of all, breakfast cereal.
As to beer at the stadium, Worthington Creamflow is everything that's wrong with pasteurised filtered keg beer. All fizz and no flavour. The lager is scarcely better and neither of them has seen a hop in their production. I'm in CAMRA, and agree with the slogan from Hobgoblin - "Wassamatter lager boy? Frightened you might taste something?"
Give me a bottle of something tasty anytime. There are so many good beers available, but advertising drives out any competition and gives us no choice but the rubbish. Pity!

Forget whether the pies are good or bad. If you voted Tory / Lib Wallys in the last election you gave the swines permission to attack the humble pie / our heritage by adding a big increase to their cost in this weeks budget.

Shame Labour has no guts BUT to attack the PIE!!!
