Just heard Lewis is leaving his post of Chairman of the RFL to take over as CEO at Wimbledon.
I believe this is the ideal opportunity for a major shakeup at Red Hall. Bring in new blood with new ideas and some drive and initiative. Lewis spoke like a politician, and I doubt he could inspire anyone with his dull as ditchwater oratory and bland written articles.
Referring to the post praising McManus for his outspoken and insightful comments, I would be very excited at the thought of him, or dare I say, our own Chairman taking over the RFL.
Thoughts anyone?
Richard Lewis

Re: Richard Lewis
He was from tennis in the first place.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
