https://www.ancientandloyal.com/
James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall

How good was Jamie Acton?? MOM performance against the Aussies says he must have been at least okay. Wonder why he didn't make it with us??

Re: Jamie Acton
Shocked by this news, thought he was a good player for us!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Jamie Acton
It says in the article he played for the under 18's and put in a MOM performance, which is what got Wigan interested.cherry.pie wrote:When did he play the Aussies?jobo wrote:How good was Jamie Acton?? Acton had plenty of potential but was a bit too rough around the edges. He was brought in as a centre but didn't look good enough in that position so he was moved into the back row. Given the competition we have in that position it doesn't really surprise me that he's gone. I think Connor Farrell and Rhodri Lloyd have looked better in the back row.
Re: Jamie Acton
Bit gutted about this tbh...
Jamie was my 'tip for the top' after seeing him many times last season. I though he was destined for big things because he looked very strong and very fast.
Shows what I know...

Re: Jamie Acton
being a southern league fan, been aware of Jamie at quins and through stags so dont usually comment on wigan things but talking to his old coach Troy Perkins, he said Jamie chose to leave Wigan, he wasnt released,Wigan do alot of good things for alot of young players, but perhaps it just wasnt the best place for Jamie with the new reserves coach. I dont think this will be the last we hear, Troy said hes playing against St Helens in the challenge cup so will see then.
