Change in Car Parking Tonight
Due to heavy rain we have been informed this morning by Feathersone Rovers that there is a change of venue for Wigan coach and car parking at tonight's game.
Wigan vehicles will be re-directed to a local industrial estate car park.Wigan coaches/cars are advised to come up Station Lane,go over the railway line and turn left after the War Memorial and before the CMS building they can then park up in the industrial yard the post code is WF7 6EQ
Access to the BigFellas Stadium is a 3-5 min walk. Supporters can cut through the ginnel at the side of the railway and go through the bowling club car park.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Change in Car Parking Tonight
Brilliant news, emailed Fev yesterday telling them that we would refuse to park on grass.
Very good of them to look into other arrangements, cas wouldn't do that !!

Where you have been directed is a very safe place its all under cameras and is owned by Mark Campbell the chairman of Rovers, it is a three minute walk to the stadium. Hope you have a safe journey over and we can make it a enjoyable experience for you..ROVERS ROVERS ROVERS

Re: Change in Car Parking Tonight
When we arrived at the ground, I asked the steward at the entrance where this particular parking area was & he didn't know. He directed me to another steward who sent me round the back of the stadium where we were parked on grass!!
It wasn't as bad as the grass field behind the away stand tho', where cars & even a police van got bogged down!!
The footpaths were very very muddy with great big ruts & were very difficult to get passed to get into the ground without getting full of mud!!
