Decent effort. Very impressive. May be ready to step up to officiate finals / internationals. Far better than Ganson and at least as good as silverwood / Bentham.

Did well, he was consistent which is the main thing I like to see.

Yep, credit where credit's due. Very consistent and his errors were marginal and divided across both sides.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

We don't seem to have him in charge very often but for the last three seasons or so I think he's been the best ref for us. He's fair and keeps the whistle blowing to a minimum which in turn allows the game to flow. Thought he was excellent tonight.
