Huddersfield captain Kevin Brown has accepted a one-match ban for a high tackle against Salford on Sunday.
Brown will sit out Sunday's game against Widnes - who he has agreed to join on a four-year deal from 2013 - at the Stobart Stadium as a result of a high tackle on prop Adam Sidlow during the Giants' 38-34 defeat by the Reds at magic weekend.
Widnes skipper Jon Clarke will also miss Sunday's game after admitting a dangerous throw on Warrington centre Matty Blythe during his side's 68-4 defeat by the Wolves in Manchester.
Both players were eligible to submit early-guilty pleas to the grade B charges and accepted one-match bans.

Brown and Clarke banned
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Brown and Clarke banned
Salford v Giants was the best neutral game of the weekend for me. Isn't that now 3 matches on the bounce? Looks like their slide may have started early this year!
