From what I remember from him playing for Warrington he was a typical French player, hard but quite dirty, I think he was sin-binned against us at the JJB on one occassion for a high shot.

I'm not sure why he left Warrington, hopefully our good friend Primrose 'n' Blue will be on to enlighten us!

Seems to me that it's a panic job and the only person available was him, he's had some SL experience so he has that on his side. At the end of the day he is a player who can play prop (although I thought he was more second row) and that is better than having no prop! Fingers crossed.

If no one knows anything about him that could be good! The quiet ones are always brilliant, just look at Korkadis!

Billy McGuinty was an average player at warrington. We signed him and he went on to be a gb international.

Hopefully Jez can improve at wigan.

He was at wire for 5 seasons so he cant be that bad.

I really can't see Guisset becoming a GB International!

Does make you wonder though why he left League for Union?! Anyone know?

There was a time not too many seasons ago when "he was sin-binned against us at the JJB" could have applied to half the Warrington team! I seem to remember a certain Mr Nikau having particular problems lasting 80 minutes... (before anyone starts, that's not a dig at T himself, I feel very sorry for what's gone on in his life outside rugby, but it doesn't change the fact he was a dirty b****r when he wanted to be).

Yes i remember the ever so friendly Nikau....do recall one time a situation arose with little Willie Peters hes only about 4'6 for gods sake and Nikau was causing trouble from there!! Lets hope we dont have another hot headed dirty player.....Newton can be a hand full at times to calm down as it is and with Faz out and no real leader we dont really need another 'sin-bin lover!!' what we do need is a good hard working prop (stating the obvious!!) :doz:

I cant see him playing for Great Britain seeing as he was a regular for france. As I have said before, the guy spent 6 seasons at Warrington and was a regular for the full time he was there, I think the Wire offered him another contract but he fancied somthing new. hes never goin to set the world on fire, but hes solid and dependable, with a very high workrate. Anyway, any of you so called rugby fans would have known a little about him already, unles you only watch Wigan games that is, in which case that isnt really a true rugby league fan is it.

He could of left Wire for more Money, he might not have enjoyed Warrington, there are a million reasons! All that really matters now is that he develops as a player and is good for Wigan,
C'MON LAD!
