I've heard from someone who works at Warrington that Paul Wood has agreed to join Wigan next season on the condition it is only announced after the Grand Final.

He used us to get an increased contract from Wire!

He's just a grafter like many props in the league. Will bring nothing to us.

I have it on very good authority that he is cherry and white at heart. He's certainly a Wigan lad. May be playing for the team he loves rather than a team that employed him might bring out the best in him.

We all ready have Dudson and Flower looked upon as a props - at his stage of his career would be better off at Salford/Widnes/Wakefield

True, but he was better than anything we had out on the pitch at the weekend!

At one point in 2004 he was statistically one of the best props in SL, but his best days are long behind him. He came within a whisper of retiring a couple of years ago with repeated shoulder problems.

He's okay, but is not a like for like replacement for Lima.

This isn't going to happen. I've a mate who know's him, who asked him direct whether he was moving to Wigan. He said no.
