After 16 mins to have our hooker sent off the after 67ish to lose tommy and only lose by 8 points we looked sensational, not to mention only tommy and bens 2nd game and stueys and gills 1st giving the likes of Tyson and Eric a rest WELLexcellent performance!
My only negative, Sam stop being petulant and play!!!!!

Sorry - but they played, as usual, 5 drives = 30 yards and then a kick into the fullbacks throat.
Brilliant and forcastable so easy, by Sintellins.

sam needs to learn to catch a high ball, so far every team in the last quarter of the season has kicked him to bits, and as for his boots dont get me started, blades are for kissballers not rugby league.
ive lost counts how many times this season he has lost his footing due to those stupid blades.

Saints started well but we defended easily against them only to then take a 6-0 lead, which could have easily been 12-0 with a better call from the Ref. We then lost our Hooker after 15 minutes and only lost 26-18, sorry Ron but Saints are and were average tonight, if we play them again we WILL beat them comfortably, as we would tonight with 13 men.

TBW - Methinks not. The result tonight wasn't a fluke.
What I would say in our favour was that we fanned the ball out more especially to the freezing Josh.To no avail alas,

It was a red card, the guy is a liability. I wish we had Roby.
Sam has me quaking when the ball is in the air, not the same player he was early in the season.
Both centres too slow.
We got the hubcap (means nothing) can't see us winning the play offs.
rant over.

Who said it was a fluke? Saints won because they scored more points than us, am I worried about playing them again with 13 men for 80 minutes? Far from it!

The result was inevitable after the sending off (and I agree with Wane the ref got it wrong). The game was looking set up very well until that incident and it ruined the spectacle for 21,000 fans. I had a terrible journey to the ground and only took my seat 10 mins before kick off as a result so a round trip from Chester was for a contest that lasted 16 minutes. All thanks to the ref.
I thought we played very well in the 2nd half with a much better kicking game (in the 1st half it was rubbish).
Saints sides of old would have taken us to the cleaners and they were not capable of it. It wasn't "easy" for them at all.
Our forwards were a lot better and I think if we meet Saints again I won't be worried.
