The club have anounced that there will be no charge for car parking aroudn the stadium for the foreseeable future...

Yeh dont celebrate to hard next year season ticket holder wont get the benefit of free parking that one will be removed just wait & see.

I read somewhere that there must be 40% at least free parking associated with the stadium. If there isn't then people will park in the retail areas which will adversley affect the surrounding shops so I bet there have been objections to the plan from the retialers.

I bet there's no objections from the police to work on rugby days, standing around doing nowt for 3 hours. I think I'll quit uni and join the force now.

Car Parking at the JJB Stadium on Match Days
Car Parking will be free for the foreseeable future for matches at the JJB Stadium.
The Wigan Warriors are delighted to be able to advise Season Ticket holders, other supporters and away fans that there will be no charge to use the Car Parks. The club fully understands the Stadium's desire to upgrade Car Parking on match days which will be intended to improve security and comfort for everyone's benefit. Before that can be made however, there needs to be further discussion with various authorities including the local police.
Fans therefore, can still continue to enjoy free car parking and any major development plans will be advised in good time to all users of the stadium.
Well that is ok for this season but watch this space fols
