Is this the right strategy to train RL players or has he gone overboard?

He's really overdone it here, these players are superstars who need to be looked after when there is such a long hard season ahead. What good can this have done, I mean what will this have told him about his players when the going gets tough and what will this have done for squad morale making them suffer like this. The team needs to build team spirit and find out how they can work together, encourage each other and when they think they cant do anymore dig deep and win through. Its time we got Noble back because SW hasnt got a clue!!

I really do wish some people would get a bloody life. These are professional athletes who would wish to be pushed to the extreme. As cherry pie said he gets slated for taking the lads on a warm weather training stint and then gets hammered when he puts them through a strenuous stint he gets slaughtered for that to.Give the man a bloody break and stop finding fault with him before the season as even begun.

Now he sends them to a two day marines training camp and gets criticised!
It's amazing. He can't do right for doing wrong. It looks as though SOME Wigan fans actually want Wane to fail just to say I told you so. Most strange.

To be honest is it needed or is it something for the headlines? "Oh look what we've done, we've had ex-marines training us" - in all honesty does that sort of thing stick over the season or forgotten by next week when normal training comes back in weekly?

Anyway, as long as Wigan are winning
