There are ticket offices on the west side to buy tickets before going to the turnstile, IIRC no sales at the turnstiles

After the week I have just had it will be a relief to get to the game.As my company made 46 people redundant on Tuesday. We are currently down from eighteen valeters to a grand total of just seven. The place is like a damned ghost town.Such is the state of the car industry. So I am looking forward to the game big time. Was wandering about the best rout to the game .Thanks to all who gave information. :D

You can avoid the congestion of the motorways by going via Leigh onto the A574, left onto the B5212 over the Warburton Toll bridge and then left onto the A57.

Barton Airport is on your left hand side as you nearly reach the area where the stadium is sited.

Whelley Warriors plan sounds good comig fomr outside manc. I cmoe from inside manc so thats why i stop before i get to the motorway. Any streets around the A57 seem fine to me. The pub is on the A57 about 5 minute walk from the motorway juncton.

DON'T go over toll bridge that would put you on the wrong side of the Ship Canal. At the end of the B5212 turn left onto A57.

Just before the Airport (£5 parking) is the layby on the left
