A Song For Braiden

A charity single raising money for the Braiden Lee Prescott appeal will be played at the ahead of Wigan clash with Widnes at the DW Stadium this Saturday.

Braiden-Lee Prescott is a local boy who has stage 4 neuroblastoma. Three year old Braiden-Lee and his family recently travelled to the United States so that he could receive the Children's Oncology Group neuroblastoma treatment. Braiden is currently back home receiving chemotherapy treatment before travelling to Germany for further treatment.

The charity single will be played over the stadium PA ahead of to kick of the night's entertainment for the Sky Live fixture between the Warriors and Vikings. The song has been written and recorded by local musicians Paul Southward, John Roberts, Marc Hope and Nick Dickinson, to help raise funds to help with the cost of the travel and treatment. The track titled, 'Little Warrior' has been played by several local radio stations and endorsed by many celebrities including Warriors captain Sean O'Loughlin (pictured above).

The group also filmed a star-studded video with backing from students at The Deanery High School with a special guest appearance from GB wheelchair basketball star Jon Pollock, which has been released on DVD.
