Sale had more than a thousand more spectaters than Saints and Salford, is this a sign that we are going to be a Union stronghold in Manchester

No, Manchester will always be football and then (much further down the scale) League.

I did mean in rugby not football we all know they are top dogs.

Maybe it was harder to get to Langtree than Salford stadium in the weather?

More a reflection of Sale struggling against relegation. Wigan fans will testify to the excitement that P & R brings.

However, in reality none of the attendances incl Sales were great.
