New Signing.

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

New Signing.

Post by Ron Doran »

I was about to make a contribution to this 'New Signing' and there is no sign of it.
Has it disappeared?
Is it my PC?
So where is it??

It went off topic and calling the 'other' forum, needlessly.

I did suggest start a new one so here this is. cpwigan has been quiet since his statement but he isn't usually wrong in stuff like this.

Could be contractual issues of some sort or simple timing.

What was your contribution Ron?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

No more news on this topic I am afraid;

Player signed, signed for this season. No idea who it is.

You do not need to use the old thread now.

CP I think that this guy could be the player that was training with wigan at the begining of the season I mentioned on here, and has been trying to get a visa to return. As you know the info I had was directly from a wigan player. I was talking to Ben Cross and he said he asked wigan to sign him at the begining of the season, and was told that they had enough props, how ironic. He told me that the happiest time in his playing career was at wigan, he said it is a fantastic club with a set of some of the best guys he has ever met

Nice of him to say those things and I don't doubt his sincerity but remember he'd had a pretty torrid time under McDermott at Leeds. Coming to Wigan must have been a breath of fresh air. Wish we could have held on to him!
