In my ignorance may I ask how a Moderator is selected/appointed?
Obviously there is no CV involved, so what is the criteria and the name of the person who makes the appointment might help me and other posters to understand the protocol.

Names are put forward by members for those who would make a good mod, not self nominated and the site owner makes the decision. Xxx as you are on about me nice people put my name forward.

This forum is ruled with an iron fist ... wait a minute - did i say iron fist? ... i meant a flat management structure.

It may take several years to resolve this issue.

Personally, I'm not too worried about the forum at the moment. We've been through tougher times than this.
