Tetley's Challenge Cup Draw
The draw for the fourth round of Rugby League's oldest and most prestigious competition, the Tetley's Challenge Cup will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 5 Live on Monday April 8 from the home of holders Warrington Wolves at 3.30pm.
The draw sees the 14 Super League clubs enter the 2013 competition for the first time when they will join the winners of this weekend's 18 third round ties.
The 36 clubs involved this weekend include Championship One newcomers Oxford, Hemel Stags and University of Gloucestershire All Golds and French sides Carcassonne and Toulouse Olympique.
Monday's draw will be made by Rugby League Hall of Fame member Alex Murphy, whose exploits in the Challenge Cup with St Helens, Leigh and Warrington have been recognised by him being represented in a statue that will be unveiled at Wembley to celebrate the sport's long and historic association with the national stadium.
Alex will be joined by Bruce Ray, Communications Director of Carlsberg UK, the parent company of title sponsors Tetley's.
The draw will also be broadcast live on selected BBC local radio stations.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Challenge Cup - Who would you like to draw?
Today at 3.30 on BBC Radio 5 Live.
I'd go for a home draw against an amateur side and draft in a couple from our Under 19s to give them some 1st team experience. We may need them later on in the season!

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

Home draw against a lower league team and all the other SL teams to draw each other!

If it has to be Stains, I'd prefer them at their place where they are easier to beat.
But I'd prefer the top teams to be kept apart in the first couple of rounds. Want to ensure a decent competition and final!

Trouble is if that were to happen, Wembley would end up an embarrassing non-event!
