Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Don't know how true it his, but have heard that Castleford have sacked him.

Have looked everywhere but can't find anything :conf:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Millward ‘leaves Casetleford Tigers’ - speculation

SPECULATION was mounting today that Ian Millward has left his position as coach of Castleford Tigers.

Millward, who was appointed at the start of last season, is under contract until the end of 2014.

Tigers have won just once this year - at home to Leeds Rhinos in round two - and are bottom of the Super League table.

They finished 13th out of 14 in 2012 and have lost 30 of their 38 league games under Millward.

Tigers chief executive Steve Gill today refused to comment.

I've just never rated him as a coach. He dropped lucky when he landed the St Helens gig and they still rave about him on Redvee but my Auntie Elsie could have coached that squad!

Cas sack TAP

Castleford have joined up with myriad other clubs in discovering that Millward is a t*ss%r.
Before any of you with memories of my spat about the club employing him and telling me its time to let go and move on let me say it is never going to happen.
Hopefully the BBC will make sure they don't employ him on their Cup matches and the Superleague Show, then as an unemployed Aussie we can deport him back to the convict settlement. :) :)
