BRING BACK CRAIG SMITH

Post by TRICKY DICKY »

Smith is in talks with two aussie clubs about comming out of retirement.

Get out there, get him signed and make him captain.

He will give us valuable leadership and the pack plenty of go forward.

HE LOVES WIGAN.

HE TOLD ME THAT HIMSELF AFTER THE LEEDS GAME LAST YEAR.

I ASKED HIM IF HE WAS STAYING AS HE IS STILL AWESUM AND HE SAID I HOPE SO, GO AND TALK TO MAURICE.

THAT WAS IN THE PLAYERS BAR AFTER THE WIGAN LEED GAME.

GO GET HIM WIGAN

Doubt they'd have enough sense to go get him

:o This really does take the buiscuit, are we so desperate, that we are now resurecting the retired ? Why not Hanley, Gregory ??
Come on you Warriors fans, what we need is a new coach, and good young talent.

NOW I AM NOT ONE FOR SAYING I TOLD U SO BUT IVE MENTIONED THIS WEEKS AGO.

SMITH WAS OUR BEST PROP FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS. HE WAS TOO GOOD AND RELIABLE TO GO INTO RETIREMENT.

BUT THEN WE HAVE MO RUNNING THE SHOW AND HE WILL NEVER ADMIT HE WAS WRONG. HEED RATHER SEE US RELEGATED THAN ADMIT HE WAS WRONG.

SMITH HAD ANOTHER 2 YEARS IN HIM AND WE LET HIM GO BRING DAVICO IN WITH A SERIOUS INJURY AND PAID A HEAVY PRICE.

Give me one good reason why we should not bring Smith back?

There are some...ok a lot of moves that Wigan make that will make us think..."Why?"...this is not one. We should have tried everything to keep Smith here, and like someone has said give him Captain if he comes back, he is the only person I could see giving something special to our team at the moment. We look gormless, bring him back get some passion back in the team and start tackling harder again instead of playing tick rugby.
I think we're the only team in superleague not playing it as if its a contact sport.
