The team stopped in Hull last night.
I am thinking whoever he has roomed with has got hold of his phone.
If he was going back to Australia, it would have been announced at the midweek press conference.

Hope your right. Wouldn't be the first time. In fact didn't Pat play a similar trick on Finch this time last year?

It is correct that he is going.
On Wigan site that he has signed for West Tigers on a two year deal.
Hoping that the club have also got some big players in the pipeline to sign.
Would like to see Tom Briscoe at Wigan but apparently he is off to the NRL also.

He doesn't have much speed left but has still been played at a high level scoring and setting up tries. As good as pair of hands as their is still and he is a better goal kicker and much more of a leader than he was when he left for 8 years ago.

If true, a bit surprised that Wests have announced it before Wigan or is it that Pat has signed for Wests without letting the club know of what his intention was at the end of his present contract which terminates at the end of the season.

Also announced on the Wigan site now. Maybe just time difference is why they had it first http://www.wiganwarriors.com/WContent.a ... 163&type=1

We can't have much faith in our own young outside backs so I think we'll have to go and get some one. Lineham at Hull would be alright by me.
