Lost young talent

Seeing how well Greg Burke has done so far this season has reminded me of 2 other talented young players with lots of potential who seem to have disappeared from the game, ie Ryan King and Matty Crowe.
King who was like a wippet, willing to take some workload of his forwards in attack, would score for fun especially when he had a decent centre inside him and was good in defence, seemed to be abandoned by the club once Gelling appeared and was released, even though he had made a first team appearance, so he obviously had something going for him.
Crowe I thought at the beginning of last season was up there with Burke for potential, as either 2nd row or Centre, but whereas Burke was given the opportuinity to develop last season, and rightly so, Crowe spent most of it shining the bench, sometimes being only given 10 mins on the pitch or not used at all.
With the increasing prospect of our top players going to Oz/Yawnion can the game really afford to let such young talented players to disappear from the game.
