brett dallas is not good enough, we need someone like marcus bai or stanley gene, even that australian winger who plays for the scousers
we should sign someone who is not a big name but actually tries
who do you think we should sign

when brett dallas scores he usually go on to score a lot of trys but when he does not score he is often ineffective in attack, unlike the rest of the team he can defend, who do you think we should sign ( any position not just wingers)

could'nt agree with you more doug, how is dallas expected to score when he has to come in the middle to get some ball, the amount of times you see that guy get banged to the floor by a ruddy great big forward is unbelievable he should not have to do the forwards job!, he should get service on the wing okay you see wingers come inside to help out sometimes but dallas and carney are always coming inside, one more point if dallas had not been playing against the broncos you may have seen more points on the board for the broncos, did he not save about three sure trys by his superb defending skill?

Wigan don't have enough left on the 20/20 rule and oversesa quota to fix it this year.
The overseas quota may not be a problem depending if Seu Seu and Vaikeli are NZ'ers or south sea islanders however the 20/20 is definately not full.
I reckon there are at least 2 (with Farrell) or 3 (without Farrell) places on that if you look at the squad.

Doug,
Acording to totalrl.com Willie Mason is to miss most of the season through injury. This would stop Morley leaving the Roosters and coming to us. I like Morley but this is probably a good thing since,as you point out, we need more than one player. We could get 3 Korkidises for 1 morley

Dallas saved our ar**s on Sat night. He was there to receive nearly all kicks from the last under pressure and on the line.
If Dallas put on some weight he'd be a better forward than anyone we've got right now because despite his size and the fact that every tackle goes around his head, he is not afraid of taking the big guys on. With how some of our lads have been recently, how can you pick on Dallas?!

sorry but what nonsense you are talking"Dallas not good enough" how many try saving tackles has he done while he's been at wigan too many to count, also why he hasn't been scoring is a simple fact he needs to have the ball on the wing not just going down the middle as is wigan's tactic at the moment.

i agree brett dallas is good in defence
and he trys hard
but he is not effective in attack
good winger can break through defences

if they have the ball which he is not getting he's has to go looking for the ball instead of receiving it.
