Just come on GMR that Oldham are facing closure. Maybe Mr. Lewis or the Board at London can give them some advice.

i feel that it would only be fair if mr lewis was 2 save oldham because:
1. they arent even in as much debt as london were
2. rugby league is ment to be a fair game and saving one club but not another would prove that they are not being fair :doz:

Bibey might be crap but he is trying his best to make a living. He has done no harm to us so why do you slag him off so much? How good have you ever been at anything anyway?

The RFL didnt help Oldham the last time they had debts, and they wont help them this time either. It really is pathetic that a true rugby league town like oldham that turns out plenty of class players is not considered as important as London, they have had 25 years to make it work down there but the fact is that it never will work because the cockneys dont like the sport. Yet Oldham which is truely a rugby league town is looked down on by the authorities.
It makes me sick to think our sport is run by these people.

You don't know yet though, they might support Oldham too. I hope Oldham can continue on, like you say it'd be terrible if a proper rugby town was forced to quit.

I think the thing with London was that if they went bust so would the all the work done down in the South to promte RL. It might not be as thriving as it is in the North but I believe it has grown massively over the past 10 years. They could hardly let all this work go down the pan, that would be a massive backwards step for the sport.
