Well, finally the JJB has sorted it out. We no longer hear the mumbles of someone whos name we missed at the beginning of the match. We now have loud, clear speakers. Maybe a bit too loud at times mind but oh well, better than it was before. Crowd seemed very uplifted today when they could actually hear what song was being played, everyone was joining in and dancing and singing as if it was a cup final and to think it was only the local newly promoted team that aren't a threat to anyone!

Also, it took them a while to catch on but well done to whoever managed to steal the dallas tune and play it when he scored, looks like there is finally some thought going into what is being said and played at the JJB, I've even been impressed with the cheerleaders this year.

is this the way to amirello?

A while ago we were thinking of new songs for singing to lift the spirits of our team...i think is this the way to amarillo would be a great song how funny would that be...everyone singing that at the top of their voices...we'd drown the mumblings from the saints fans!!! :exc: :exc:

Only thing is, Wigan have been playing that at their games for a while now, we used to play it last season but since it's been re released EVERYONE is singing it so it wouldn't just be a Wigan song
Such a shame cause it's a favourite now. What did you think of that band before kick off? They didn't look too old at all, thought they did really well getting people involved. We lack that at the JJB at times.

yes i think they were quite good! they were enthusiastic and got the crowd ready for the match! we should definatly keep up this type of pre match entertainment! also it is a shame that "is this the way to amarillo" will not stay a wigan song
