The Leigh game
I was chatting to some Leythers who claim to have seen their chairman Derek Beaumont get thumped by his own fans in the north stand. At least we haven't come to that yet - are we more restrained or is it because Mo keeps out of the south stand?

the lobbys never suprise me they are animals! didnt they through bottles at our players last season in the challenge cup rounds!they where fighting between themselves friday so why not punch the chairman as well! the sooner they go down the better for the sport.

The only reason I was in favour of their promotion was to see them being humiliated, as I mentioned at the time.

Yes they did throw bottles - when Leigh were taking a conversion the Wigan team had to stand on the centre spot!the grinch posted:
