Is there any way of being logged in automatically when visiting the site? Its a bit of a pain keep logging in every time.

If your browser supports cookies then you can do this:
Goto the Login page (the link on the left margin, not the top boxes). Enter your details (at least the password won't be filled in). Make sure the Auto-login box is checked. Click login. From now on you should be logged in automatically if you use the same PC/browser.
Let me know if it doesn't work.
