Time to forgive

Lots of fans, including myself predicted betts would be sacked for losing two games over easter.

This has not materialised after an against all odds performance on Friday.

I for one made mistakes in what i said last week above once but you have to give credit where its due.

EVEN IF WE DO GET BEAT TOMMORROW WE SHOULD UNITE AS FANS AND STICK TOGETHER DESPITE WHAT HAPPENS.

ANCIENT AND LOYAL IS THE MOTO.

Some people have just been way to harsh on the guy, he's done nothing wrong and beating saints well even that just earns him the right to be our coach

I couldnt agree more.

What would bringing in a new coach achieve.

He has now proven he can get the lads up for it.

he proved ages ago to me that betts is a good enough coach and if we win tomorrow i think it will be a bigger achievement that the saints win after all the injuries we have got.

well said warrior and like i said never once have i doubted bett's ability as our coach, sometimes he seems a little to cool to be true, but i respect the guy for the fact he doesnt respect reputation, he respects performance

fair play, he cuts the shit and gets straight to the point.

Straight talker.

AT LEAST YOU KNOW WHERE YOU STAND WITH STRAIGHT TAKERS. I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE SPEAK IN RIDDLES.

Maybe it will be too much to achieve a win at Hull today. Thats not betts' fault, that is down to injuries. I get a bit tired of the negative Warriors fans on this web page. Last week, it was never going to happen us beating Stains, and look what happened, they were awesome, defence was unreal, they worked so hard and we lost key players to injuries. At the start of the good friday game, we had injuries and missing players, farrell, carney, hock, Danny Orr was not fit but played, Sean o'Loughlin was carried off, Kev Brown got badly injured....Stains had a full side....what does that tell you ! Denis wants the best out of his players and I think that happens, we have just been unfortunate with injuries. You can always blame the coach for bad games...the players are out there, Betts I think is a excellent coach and I think the players respect that.

ML and DW need to get their hands in the pockets and buy a or some quality players, they have the money now that the farrell deal is completed. At the end of the day DW needs to realise that the Warriors create alot of revenue for him, and he needs to repay that by coming up with the goods. Maybe DW loyalties lie too much with the latics, well come on Mr Whelan, look at YOUR ground full to capacity on Good friday !!! ENOUGH SAID !!!

I just hope Wigan do beat hull today, that again will prove alot of people wrong. I do think it is a long shot, but who knows !!!!!!!

I agree with you all!! I think that on friday we beat all expectations.....i must admit i didnt believe that we would win! i wasnt being negative, i just thought that we would not have the strength to beat saints! but i was happily proved wrong! despite all the injuries, we got through that match! we played brilliantly and everyone tried their best! i was especially proud of all the players that carried on playing the match with injuries! but i think today might just be a bit too much for the wigan team! i think all the players deserve a rest and i dont think it is important that we win today! it would be great if we did! we would prove a lot but i'm happy with our win over saints!!i wouldnt be too upset if we lost today!

who says we have had a bad start to the season if we beat hull today we will be in 3rd place. We started worse last year at this stange last year we were in 8th I think weve started quite well.
