Did anyone listen to the phone in on Radio Humberside of the way back from Hull. There were a couple of angry Hull fans ringing in saying Klien was biased towards Wigan and gave us the game. One went as far as to say that it was the most biased refereeing performance he'd ever witnessed.

I can see why they must have been annoyed though. Everytime he mucked up by not giving us a penalty or a knock-on he'd give it on the next play when they did absolutely nothing wrong.

As for giving them as offside, he did it a few times, but I remember the spell where they were on us as soon as the ball was played where he didn't seem to give any, then all of a sudden he decided to even up the count.

Altogether a terrible referee, even compared to the rest of the league. I can appreciate they have a difficult job but he was just awful at times.

klien just seems to respond to the crowd the louder u shout the more u get that is why they got more in first on we got more in the secound and hull were supossed to be at home lol
