Important Matchday Information

Wigan Warriors take on Huddersfield Giants in the first game of the new Super League on Friday night at 8pm.

As the action returns to the DW Stadium fans are urged to give themselves plenty of time to get to the ground and enter the stadium as a large crowd is expected, and the home opener traditionally sees a late rush just before kick-off.

Kick off for the game is 8pm and turnstiles will open at 6.30pm.

TICKETS

Despite the expected large crowd, tickets for the game are still available online by [clicking here] and selecting the Print@Home option. Tickets and Seasonal Memberships will also be available via the main stadium ticket office before kick-off, while selected cash turnstiles will be available in the North and East Stands on the day of the game.

PARKING & DIRECTIONS

For more information on parking and directions to the DW Stadium [click here]. With a big crowd anticipated all fans are urged to arrive early, take their seat and enjoy the pre-match entertainment. Fans are also advised that the Kudos, Arena and Leisure Centre car parks surrounding the DW Stadium which are owned by Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust now cost £5 per vehicle to park on matchdays.

SPECTATOR AMENITIES

The South Stand Bar will be open before and after the match as normal and is still free entry for all Members. The club would like to urge fans wishing to enter the South Stand Bar to arrive early to avoid disappointment.

MERCHANDISE

Official merchandise will be on sale from the Club Shop in the West Stand from 6pm until kick-off at 8pm.

PROGRAMMES

Programmes will be on sale from around the stadium priced at £3 and feature exclusive features with Wigan new boy, Matt Bowen and Shaun Wane, along with new features for the 2014 season including the Warriors players 40/20 quiz.

GOLDEN GAMBLE

Golden Gamble tickets will also be available priced at just £1 from sellers around the stadium.

ENTERTAINMENT

An Awesome evening of entertainment has been organised for fans attending the game including popular classical group, Sahara Collective. For more information [click here].

MAX'S FAMILY CLUB

Max's Family club will be back for the new season with hosts Dom and Gillian from 6.15pm in the North Stand Marquee bat and will be free for all Members and £1 for non members.

Junior Warriors will have the chance to win opportunity to the matchday mascot at our next game, have their faces painted and join in the fun and games with Max, while the bar will be open and there will be a quiz for the adults.
