he is trying to replace Farrell but cannot until he takes up his RU contract on June 1st.
Why ever not, should be a simple job to delist him from our playing register and have the money available now and in any case with all the other players who will not be playing for us for this year we must have oodles of money available under any salary cap regs.

True, but he does go on to say what we've all been saying on here, that there are very few quality players available right now.
He needs to be looking for loan arrangements or short-term (rest of this season) contracts. Then start looking at who's available for next season.

we never seem to have oodles of money under any circumstances.
I'm glad betts and maurice have decided not to go panic buying we dont want any old crap

They decided not to panic buy last season and we got Luke Davico.

I'll bite as well, even if a bit late!
The only panic buy was Guisset, and he's turned out ok.
Davico was signed before he got the original injury, and was supposedly cleared by the docs after the injury, before the signing was eventually confirmed.
