Bentham was discussing he as robbed Hudds of the win he's made a lot of bad decisions today he should be suspend.
Ref's do make mistakes some make a lot and sometimes you can defend that. But he can not make 2 mistakes on the same play. Even if he thought it was not over he still should have double checked with the video ref.

He needs to be dropped for a few weeks for that reason. Not that he made a mistake but he could have sorted it out if he followed his rules of going to the video ref.

Exactly. He'd set his own precedent by going to the camera for the tackle on Lomax!

Can you go to the video on a drop goal?

Anything except a forward pass. Brough asked him to but was ignored. Little wonder Bentham needed an escort from the pitch?

That was absolutely disgraceful,it was plainly over but even if he was not sure he should have gone to the video ref.Bentham has cost Huddersfield a place in the next round of the challenge cup and equally importantly a hell of a lot of money.I have never been too critical of referees as I think it is a difficult and thankless job,but I do believe he should be dropped for the rest of the season.Perhaps he should also be asked to come out and explain his actions to the Huddersfield club. The most blatant cock up I have ever seen in 45 years of watching rl

I wonder if the boot had been on the other foot and stains had dropped that one whether he would have gone to screen or just not given it and risk getting a his arse kicked of his stains loving boss gannson

I agree an absolutely ridiculous decision. Referees will always make 50-50 decisions that fans will disagree on, but something of this importance should have been referred to the video ref. As people have stated refs seem to refer most things these day so why this wasn't is a mystery. Will anything happen to Bentham I doubt it.

It looked over to me. Surely Bentham must be disciplined / dropped?

Bentham is a cretin end of. Watching that game today was like watching us with him reffing I really felt for huddersfield that ball was well over. if we have the technology to use then use it, that's what it's there for ! He didn't wanna get bummed by ganson so couldn't let dearest Stains lose. Huddersfield got hammered in penalties once ferres got sent off.

Not going to the video ref in the Wigan v Leeds semi a couple of years ago.
Ganson/Klown at Magic weekend.
Hull game at the start of the season (forget which one)
So many really poor decisions in recent years to pick out a standout.
Maybe the worse decision, was putting Cummings in charge and then handing it over to Ganson!
