Wigan Warriors would like to wish Wigan Athletic best wishes in their FA Cup Semi-Final against Arsenal at Wembley on Saturday evening.

The Latics are the current FA Cup holders and have already defeated Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in an earlier round.

Uwe Rosler's side are just 90 minutes away from a second successive FA Cup Final.

Pictured are Latics Emmerson Boyce with Sean O'Loughlin at a new 'Believe' Launch which took place in the Grand Arcade on Thursday.

Sean O'Loughlin said,

"We would all like to wish Wigan Athletic good luck on Saturday against Arsenal. It is a great achievement by the Club to get to the Semi-Final of the FA Cup once more.I am sure the whole town are behind you."

The winners of Saturday's tie which has a 17.07 kick off as a mark of respect for those that lost their lives at Hillsborough 25 years ago will play the winners of the Hull City v Sheffield United Semi-Final which takes place on Sunday also at Wembley.

(All football fixtures this weekend will kick off seven minutes later as a mark of respect for those that lost their lives in the Hillsborough tragedy.)

I'm hoping they retain the cup and get promotion. Wonder what the odds were at the start of the season? You can bet some of their supporters will have had a punt!

Had to laugh listening to Wish FM. Said some of the Latics fans were telling Arsenal fans the directions to Wembley.

Great effort coming so close to beating the gooners.
Latics lift their game well in vital matches, must be a typical wigan trait.

Rosler has been fantastic replacement manager but the penalty taker selections were baffling

I feel sure Arsenal fan's are well aware of the way to Wembley seeing that they go there regular to watch England.

Poor game and if Arsenal had taken the chances they created, it would not have gone to penalties.

Why on earth, Gomez who is the regular penalty taker was not the first one to take a penalty and was listed at no 5 is a bit strange.

Still a great achievement in reaching the Semi Final.

Just like to say well done to the Latics, went down with some friends yesterday, wasn't the best game ever and in truth we didn't have many clear goal attempts but we were a bit unlucky not to hold on against a poor Arsenal side. Was also a bit surprised about the order of our penalty takers. Hopefully Latics will be back at Wembley in the play off final. :eusa2:
