Former Hull forward Richard Fletcher is returning to Super League to answer Wigan's injury crisis.

The 23-year-old second row has left Queensland club Eastern Suburbs to join the Warriors.

The Scotland international only started 11 games in six, injury-hit seasons with Hull, though he made 56 appearances as a replacement.

Wigan are without Gareth Hock and Sean O'Loughlin for the rest of the season with knee injuries while Andrew Farrell has moved to rugby union.

A statement on the Eastern Suburbs website said: "The Tigers wish him the very best with his new start in the English League
