How come everyone is getting people on loan yet we are trying to struggle to kepp going with young lads? We need to get someone and quickly else Salford will overtake us and we will drop out of the top 6. dam straight the hole is getting deeper leigh have got some prop on loan from wire, hoe come we cant get a big lad take some of the load of the guys in the front row we wana wait to buy till post season. and then buy BIBEY back (not a chance in hell)

Perhaps other clubs don't fancy the idea of strengthening Wigan's squad by allowing a player to go and play for a rival?

Wire letting a player go to Leigh removes him from their salary cap, gives him some game time but he is not going to set up the winning try in a Wigan v Wire game is he?

Wigan can make enquiries to all the SL clubs and no doubt the majority have the odd player they fancy loaning out but not if it is to Wigan!

They can put a clause in saying that the player isn't allowed to play against the loaning club. FOr exmaple - if we loaned Wayne McDonald from Leeds (who isn't getting a game for them) they could stipulate that he didn't play against Leeds for Wigan. It may even help Leeds if we beat the teams chasing them who are above us.

Good point in last 2 posts, but if we are encountering difficulty in signing or taking on loan additional players, the club haven't tried to calm us down by telling us of their activities re recruitment. It doesn't change anything really but I'd be happier if ML told us "we can't get player X from Warrington, Leeds won't release player Y", etc. At least we'd know that the club is trying - at the moment the silence has been deafening
