Never quite sure what position George will end up playing long term but he is week by week IMO making the half back partner to Matty Smith his own in 2015.

I would have to agree CP.

It seems, george for 6, Rocky to be our long term FB and Sam Powell will be utility to cover 6,7 and 9.

You can tell RL has changed though :) NO WAY would George have that nose in tact in the old days!

Him and Smith could be very good indeed long term.
Also he has that yard of pace that Smith doesn't have.

Very impressed with George tonight, he's making great progress. Sam Powell was good too. How many of you are starting to think that we don't need to sign an experienced stand off for next year? Do we need Burns or Leuluai? Also, is there still a place for Logan as a back up hooker or do we already have all bases covered with Williams, Powell and Hampshire?

Anyone who has watched the progress of Hampshire, Powell and Williams over the last couple of seasons have always known that we have never had any need to sign a 'experienced stand off for next year'. Even the departing Green with his two year contract knew it as he too watched them progress from Academy to the First Team.

What is a problem is having two more good young half backs and a hooker, Doran, Sharrock and Wright at the back of them in the Under 19 Academy.

Have to agree with you WW. But why is it a problem having the 3 kids comming through?. Would have thought this was great for keeping williams powell and hampshire on there game.
