First saw him playing about 1967 in Poolstock and he stood out. There was some sort of amateur league getting going ,and often you could watch a decent game there free, gratis. Not sure when he signed for Wigan, but not long after we began starting the descent into the dark ages . Time flies.

I would imagine, with nil evidence , that Stevo is a decent bloke and would let byegones be byegones?Clear up rate in prostate is rising all the time, so if early diagnosis might be ok . Ashurst Must be one or two years older than myself. Makes you think.

A great bloke and a hard player. Remember him dating one of my teachers at school for a while, he would always find time to talk to youespecially about rugby league. I wonder if that clown Stevo will mention him on friday ( bet not )
