SPECULATION Scott Taylor could be on the move from Wigan Warriors has resurfaced.

The prop has fallen out of favour at Wigan – and Super League rivals have taken note.

Taylor was linked with a move to Hull FC earlier this season, and is thought to still be on their radar.

Given Taylor’s stock, it is no surprise other clubs are keeping tabs on the situation.

The 23-year-old – who enjoyed Challenge Cup and Grand Final success last season – has not figured for the Warriors in nearly two months.

Having been a starting front-rower earlier in the campaign, he was relegated to the bench at the end of June – before being dropped altogether after the loss at Widnes at the end of August.

And given the strong form of Dom Crosby, Ben Flower, Eddy Pettybourne and Tony Clubb since, his chances of figuring in the Grand Final charge would appear limited.

The Warriors took out an option on his contract for 2015, meaning they would be entitled to a transfer fee for the ex-Hull KR man if another club wanted to prise him away.

Wane has plenty of strength in the front-row department.

As well as the four players who have figured in their three straight wins during September, Gil Dudson and Ryan Sutton are waiting in the wings – and James Greenwood has returned from a loan spell at London.

Wigan have also signed Wakefield’s Taulima Tautai for next season.

Not really bothered have lost better and will lose better again, if he doesn't want to be here then sell him, if he has his heart set on playing out his career at his hometown club then so be it, i don't see it as career suicide if it has been his lifelong dream, he gets paid well enough and is happy with the outcome then fair enough, Wigan isn't the be all and end all, though some fans, i mean True Supporters go too far with the whole every club other than Wigan are Lesser clubs bollocks :exc:

This Taylor story is becoming boring now, Wigan are now and always will be bigger than any player, so he needs to either come out and confirm his position or move on

I always like to give every player the benefit of doubt before coming to a conclusion. With the silence from both the club and Taylor's agent assuming he's got one. Leaves me along with others to ask is he injured? As he been dropped by the coach etc. Long as been the rumour that he wants away from the club for whatever reason. It now appears by all accounts that he's surplus to requirement. Is it a clash of personalities, does he have a problem with other players or the coach for that matter. Whatever the reason it is now past the point of do I give a damn if he stays or if he goes. And the simple answer is a big resounding No. As previously mentioned we have seen better than Taylor we will continue to see better than Taylor. Move him on and lets be done with the whole situation. Greenwood and Sutton will come good with more game time and hopefully become Taylors worst nightmare when he appears against us.

He looked perfectly happy in his suit on the bench on Thursday evening. Having a laugh & joke with the other lads (as was Darrell Goulding) so I doubt his non-playing is because of an attitude readjustment ploy.
One things for sure - we'll probably find out off rival fans before off the club.

I daresay Taylor is perfectly fit but basically wants to leave which equates to his continual omission. Hence despite Wane continually stating that props need to be rotated to keep their match fitness up to the required standard means that although he will be fit, the argument will always be he is not match fit.

Personally, I think Taylor is an excellent prop and of an age where he is going to only get better and has the potential to represent England/GB. However, sadly it will not be at Wigan and let's hope none of our current props get injured in the remaining game before the GF (if (we should) make it). It is the Wane way or the Highway!

At this stage the focus has to be winning the GF!
