Warriors Bring Festive Cheer

Post by josie andrews »

Wigan Warriors players helped bring some Christmas cheer to the children and staff of Rainbow Ward at Wigan Infirmary yesterday.

The players presented the children (and some staff) with presents including a raft of selection boxes kindly donated by the Co-operative.

Dom Crosby attended and said:
"The guys always enjoy coming to the hospital to see the children, it's great to see so many happy smiling faces and bring them a gift and sign a few autographs. The kids really inspire us so much as do the staff who do a terrific job.

"Thanks to everyone who made us feel so welcome, also a huge thank you to Paul Connolly and the guys at the Co-operative who helped make this happen."

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
