A British signing ??
As from next season the overseas quota is being reduced from 4 to 3.
As a result the club aren't able to go out and sign all these overseas players we are currently being linked with.
Therefore, if you had to sign a British player for the Warriors who would it be ??

Doesnt have to be a British signing to get around it, the whole commonwealth issue comes into play now. But good British signings, hmm hard one to answer, Obviously Scully, Senior, Gleeson, Fielden etc come into it, but we wont get them. We would have to pay a fee for anyone british im afraid.
Re: A British signing ??
I thought it was already down to three this season which is why we have two "kiwi's" as one (or maybe both) won't ocunt on the quota.100% Warrior posted:

There are quite a few ways around the quota (unfortunatley) so if we are linked with a "kiwi" thereoculd be a chance he has a south sea islnd type of passport which means he won't count on the quota. As a result the club aren't able to go out and sign all these overseas players we are currently being linked with.

Correct, Dave - I didn't see that article when it first appeared, but the guy talks a lot of sense (except predicting the schoolboys' result!)
At the moment, though, we only have 2 quota players; Dallas and Moran...Vaealiki and Seuseu both have Samoan links (Samoa, of course, being a well known EC country! ).
