Do you think this 'new style' will help Bowen out a bit more?
Would like to see him rested a bit more this season, particularly in the less difficult games.

Young Backs are the lease improved part of the side tbh for not season. And that is saying something. The pack will be about the best SL has seen since the Bulls early 2000.

Mossop if fit and Patrick with Joel Tomkins will make us destructive up front. Losing Pettybourne now has had no real impact on the forwards. Only question mark is Williams at 6 but he has all the ability and should be given a chance.

For once under IL we are actually looking stronger going into a season than we did the season before.

I believe there will be subtle differences. Personally, as far as I am concerned we simply need to play more field position and possession in our own half than we did in 2014. I believe we can score tries v anybody in their 22.

Maybe a few more in front of the posts though

It's in the tight games when goal kicking could win or lose matches. That'll be the crunch.

I also think that the competition as a whole will be much better, 2 less teams and improved squads overall will make for exciting games. Some off the unfashionable teams have built up considerably and will be more competitive than in recent years.

The new league format should also mean clubs have less chance of fielding weaken teams as every point is needed in the second phase, especially with only a top four play off.

Far better than the old format and the farcical top eight play off which could result in a team below four winning the Grand Final.

we need a recognised goal kicker. In tight games goal kicking can mean a win or a loss
