Man of the Match

Greg Richards by a country mile. We'd have been lost without him!

Quality KW.... On a serious note i thought it was a tough choice, and Clubb had a great game.

Momentous win!!!

Agree on Richards, KW, but fantastic maturity by our youngsters: Rocky, Williams, Manfredi, Sutton, Sarge, Bateman , Budgie, even Logan (?) all 21 or less - our Golden Generation?

It wasn't Roby that's for sure and best hooker in Superleague, not in my book.

Macs effort today in defence was brutal but fair.
Now that is a true hooker and enforcer.

Off thread a little as he wasn't MOM, but Rocky was very good, done nothing wrong and contributed well.

Is that not a bit harsh? It was a defensive game and our defending had real bite. We could have had one or two more scores, when sarge broke on the rhs and didnt feed manfredi immediately and drifted into the wingers space. But i will take the win.

That Richard lad was superb.

Great win today.

Lets hope we can kick on on Monday as that would have taken its toll.

With Lockers and Flower coming back we should go ok now.

Ryan 'Rocky' Hampshire IMO ????????????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

There's not much in variation when we spread the ball out wide and maybe thats why Stains managed to muscle up on us near the touchline.
We had a good overlap, where Swift was allowed to keep his width, whereas in previous seasons the numbers of players with options would have been a try 9 out of 10 times. One of our overlap players was Ryan Sutton who just kept inside not posing a question of the defence. Should he have been there and should he have done more to ask questions of the defence?

Agree with you Rob. Thought both sides were evenly matched with both defending like Trojans and all through the second half I said next team to score wins the match. Thankfully it was us.
A classic derby but both teams will struggle Monday!
