Hull FC head coach Lee Radford is remaining positive as he prepares to field one of the club's youngest ever sides, as the Black and Whites injury list climbs to twelve.

Richard Whiting, Joe Westerman, Steve Michaels and Josh Bowden have all been added to an extensive injury list for the Black and Whites after a hard-wearing game at Warrington on Sunday, with the latter three set to be out for the remainder of the season.

They now join captain Gareth Ellis, Leon Pryce, Fetuli Talanoa, Setaimata Sa, Kirk Yeaman, Chris Green, Jordan Thompson and Callum Lancaster all on the side-lines as Hull's injury problems deepen.

Liam Watts, a stand-out performer for the Black and Whites in 2015, is also a doubt for Friday night’s match at Wigan, but is pushing hard to feature to help lead an inexperienced side at the DW Stadium.

Who knows? Worth a "try" of course!

The right time and possibly the right match to send Hampshire and Williams out in the starting thirteen. They have been talked up long enough as the half back pairing for the next eight to ten years, let's give 'em a runout.

If Liam Watts does turn up at the DW then take him to a quiet room and get him to sign a contract.
We need another big prop and he's a big prop!

As for the scoreline, the more the better but no bragging from us surely when Catalans put 58 past us at their place!

We've got a 96 points difference to make up on Leeds. If we win tomorrow, and win big, we could cut that points difference considerably.

But that big loss against Catalan has effectively given Leeds an extra half-point and even if they lose this weekend (non inconceivable) and we win big, we still need them to slip up again at some point - or we'd need another massive score and that looks unlikely.

No excuses tomorrow though, Wigan need to be looking to score 50+ and keep them in single figures?

That doesn't make sense!! We play Stains and Cas to finish!

Did the scoreline matter here or just a win.
We didn't loose so are still positioned with a home tie in the semi final.
A win next week guarantees a home berth in the semi most likely against Saints or Hudds.
Who finishes third and fourth is still in the balance so that's an unknown.
Home tie is essential for the semi final I think and that's still in our control.
I think we will see a different attitude Wigan next week.

The win was more important, the points difference was a bonus!!
