James Greenwood to get full-time Hull KR deal?

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

James Greenwood to get full-time Hull KR deal?

Post by josie andrews »

JAMES Greenwood is close to agreeing a contract with Hull KR after impressing during his time on loan at the Robins.

Joining Rovers from Wigan Warriors in May on a season-long loan deal, the 24-year-old has performed well when called upon by coach Chris Chester and is on course to be rewarded for those efforts.

With his three-year deal at the Warriors coming to an end, KR are keen to take the forward on and develop his game further.

Discussions between Greenwood and KR are said to be ongoing but the Mail understands negotiations are at a promising stage.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I'd forgotten all about him. Good luck to the lad if he can swing a contract!

Looks a vastly improved player since his time at Rovers.
Good line breaks and off-load.

James has improved but his brother has gone stale and shown no improvement, even maybe going backwards from 12 months ago.
I was disappointed with James at Wigan, but he has shown potential at Rovers. Our props are ahead of James Greenwood, but he will get better.

Never really got his chance at Wigan but showed plenty of promise at HKR.

Should have at least been in their CC side and was a disgrace after his semi-final performance that he was not.

After signing Isa it was not a surprise and I expect Rhodri Lloyd to follow out the door

Money gone elsewhere, there'll be a pleasant surprise for Wigan fans.
