Does anyone know what is happening with Shaun Edwards?

His contract is up with Wales and nothing has been announced in regards to him leaving, rumors are he is off to Ireland (would like him back at Wigan though)

Don't think we ever see Shaun Edwards at Wigan at any time too much involved with the RA RA game and its poisoned chalice money. What a pity when Edwards was finishing his career that all the SL Clubs were intent on getting NRL coaches .

Edwards went to London to be near his son, but I think he had every intention of returning to our game in due course.

Unfortunately along came Union going professional and seeing how far more money was to be made in that game, a change of direction was made.

And if Union had gone professional at the time he was playing for us, I am in no doubt that along with some others like Ford and Lydon he would have been off to Union without hesitation.

Because he's a previous Wigan legend, does that alone make him a good league coach considering his time out of the sport?

I agree if he wants to coach in League he will need to start at an assistant level.
