Bulging disc which is also causing hamstring issues. At least three weeks before he plays.

From my experience with a bulging disc, the disc would be pinching on the sciatic nerve which runs down into the hamstring.
There would be some inflammation which can recede with injections into the spine.
If that fails it could mean an operation to trim the bulging disc, Tyson Frizzell from the Dragons had this in pre season and it took him about 8 weeks before he was back to full fitness.

Biggest problem with this type of injury without surgery it is likely to keep flaring up without warning.

With Lockers going off injured last night, having needed a pre-match fitness test along with Sarg, T and Manfredi, is it time to call back Rocky to play in the halves?
Personally I think we should give Rocky a run of games in his natural position. Unfortunately I can foresee Wane opting to play Waterworth at hooker and Powell in the halves or continuing with Gregson, a 2nd row in his first snr season, at stand off.

That injury sounds a long term one to me. I can see Wigan messing him about with him playing a couple of games now and then he is injured again and finally deciding to get him the OP and losing him finally for the season. He could end up playing less than 10 games this season.

Sharrock might be an option. He has comeback IIRC from an injury and was in the England Academy team.
Do not expect Williams back any time soon

Think if rocky was going to be recalled he would of been by now, there is clearly an issue there and if you look at wanes past treatment of people he doesn't like he will not be back at Wigan no matter what
