Although likely destination appears to be Gold Coast and not Wigan. Wonder how long his contract with them will be for - could make a decent left centre for us

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

After reading that report, I can't see us, as a club, signing this player!
He isn't a forward or a work in progress type of player

You are very cynical Josie.

Would love to see Big Konnie in the centres with Gelling, we would be awesome and unstoppable, they would be our centres since Carmont and Gleeson :thum:

Thanks Josie for the welcome and the link correction!
Realistically we probably don't have any money left - as although we had the money to sign Ferres which should have been available...all our injuries meant so many of the youth teams have had to play we are probably spent up.
Missed opportunity though - imho could have been an awesome addition

Konrad Hurrell's sister drops big hint outgoing Warrior will join the Gold Coast Titans
The sister of Konrad Hurrell has on Facebook given the biggest hint yet that the star centre is moving to the Titans.
The Gold Coast-based club has been the most-mentioned as speculation swirled over the 24-year-old's next destination, but his management, Inventus Sports, and the Titans have said no deal is yet done.
However, in a message on Thursday morning, his sister Sarah Donny posted a message saying "On to the next milestone!!..here's to new adventures...dreams...goals..Love you my bighead little brother #blowkiss4ever..Gold Coast here we come!!!"

Fair enough. Unlikely to ever come to Super League given his agents priority to get him a mega deal in 18 months time and a Super League club's not going to make a 'risk player' their marquee signing.
Apart from Warrington obviously...
