Shaun Wane: Wigan Warriors coach unhappy at Taulima Tautai's treatment

And so he should be!

Well done Shaun for sticking up for your players ????????????????

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Well said Josie and Shaun.
I listened to Brian 'Misery Guts' McDermott's press statement - out of order to make a public statement like that.
We all agree about the so-called 'cannon ball' tackle.

It really is getting beyond a joke! Chris Chester is still going on about Lockers tackle!

Credit to Shaun Wane, and I've said this often, he never gives bad comments about other teams, players or coaches but everyone always has a dig at us.

He rarely says anything bad about referees displays & when he does he is always right.

The Sky team are another lot who have too much to say too!! ????

God wrote:Unfortunately for us Wane had plenty to say about McGuire getting sent off against Catalan a few seasons ago in the media prior to the red hall meeting.

Tit for tat if you ask me, both are as bad as each other.
What was that please?

sadly just more fuel for the Social Media outrage at wigan this year.

gone are the days of people making their own opinions its just sheep jumping on whatever negative RL theme is the current trend.

I am glad he has spoken up but he/Wigan needed to do so FAR sooner to have much impact on the discplinary although to their credit they got a match reduced. Televised matches hurt clubs re the disciplinary process which is wrong AND crazy.

I still struggle with the Josh ban.

thats a brilliant read, i love the fact how :its contradicting his statements from friday

"McDermott also believes the verdict could have serious repercussions for the game, with players fearful of going wholeheartedly into tackles in case they result in a fine and a ban."
