Disappointment

This Sunday will be a memorable event for our family as my grandson Jack will be attending his first Wigan game.He is only 4 months old and has got his own season ticket.Along with my father my son and myself there will be 4 generations of our family at the match.Over the last 2 months I have contacted the club by e-mail and have written to them to let them know but so far haven't even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement. We are not after any publicity or special treatment but thought that a letter from the club which recognises this would be something we could put in our grandsons scrap book that can remind him of his first match in years to come.I realise this will not be the first or last time this has happened but for our family it is a once in a lifetime event and to say I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response from our club is an understatement.
PS Apologies for those who will be sat next to my son and grandson at the match - Jack has some lungs on him already

Josie
I sent my e-mails via the general enquiries link on the website - you get an auto reply saying e-mail has been received but nothing since. I sent my letter to the "new" Central Park address on Montrose Avenue.

They are missing a trick here.

Write to Simon Collinson and title it "Read this and it will do your job for you".

The early bird catches the worm FW.
Four generations of supporter in a ground at the same time is some going at any Club and be whatever sport. Our family managed three generations many years ago but four was never on the cards as my grandchildren father passed away in '71.
As has been said the Club is missing a trick here, despite the youngest's 'tender months'.
I have always said it's much better when the team picks you as opposed to you picking the team. Being early should result in a good catch!!

Sorry FW but you are way out of order to question my sons parenting abilities with regards to his child and as for questioning who the event is for again out of order - the older generations of our family would be going to the game regardless.
